Immigrants face unique obstacles that may not be obvious to other Americans. They often have large networks of informal support, but no connection to existing city and state infrastructures, leaving them without access to the tools they need to succeed. UCC helps to create a sense of community, and connects immigrants to the existing networks of support that help them to establish themselves in a new country.
We're committed to addressing the needs of these residents by providing 2 crucial services:

- One-on-one counseling
- Assistance with immigration forms (change of status, work authorization, petition of relatives)
- Referrals as needed
- Spanish speakers on site
Free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults
- Multi-level classes (beginner through advanced)
- Childcare provided during classes
