Addressing a Need for Working Parents

The UCC Daycare Center — officially called the Morris L. Eisenstein Learning Center — was established in 1972 as a response to the lack of childcare options in the community. Today we serve about 100 families, and 165 kids from ages 2 to 10, with 3 general services: preschool, universal pre-kindergarten, and after school care.

MLE has seen several generations of children come through its doors. Many current parents — like our Board President, Nicole Hall — were once students or program participants here themselves.
